DVD for Dr. Lunsford

My second DVD project for an Orthodontist has brought me several new and unique challenges. Currently I have integrated layered soundtracks to score each segment and transition, though it gives me more flexibility it takes more time to make each piece balance with the voice over.

Video: Shot on DV Panasonic DVX100a in Film mode to create a more cinematic look. Shot on location over 3 days in WPB. Office.

Animation: Custom made mutliple underwater scenes and water based effects to match the aquatic theme of Dr's office. Software used, PI, After Effects and Carrara

Editing: In progress... Using Canopus Edius 3.0

Brochure Cover Baum Tools
In my ongoing search to find new ways to make automotive tools look interesting, I am on my 7th cover design, looking to find the right balance of high tech fluff and clean type design to communicate quickly what the brochure is and to get someone interested enough to pick it up and read it.

Images: Client supplied catalog images arranged in a unique and interesting way showing global market. Textures and 3-D elements rendered from Carrara Pro.

Tools: Photoshop, Corel Draw and several filters to get lighting and dimensional effects to pop with 3-D objects.

Promo Ad campaign and corporate ID for Best Auto Detailing

A new shop in town prior to the launch of the Pixar movie CARS came to me with a need to create a unique look to hook people into using his services and announce his grand opening. Did I say Pixar's movie Cars was just about to be released? Yeah, that's why I shamelessly did a rip of their look & concept.

Concept: Make this auto detailing shop look extremely cool and attract business while riding on the coat-tails of Pixars designs for the film "Cars" - now so deeply embedded in pop culture consciousness.

Tools: Photoshop, vintage car stock images, Daz Studio 3-D to make and render toon car. House Industry fonts and Letterhead font collections used for typesetting styles and logo.
